The Pan-American Association of Infectious Diseases (API) is delighted to be partnering with the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC), The Lancet Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology and Infection.  All five organizations are proud to collaborate and deliver the joint Conference: Antimicrobial resistance in the 21st century: a global threat, on November 28-29, 2019 in Panama City, Panama.

Panama City is a modern, vibrant and beautiful city, which has something to offer to every visitor.  From world-class gastronomy, nightlife and shopping; to beautiful landscapes and activities in nature, rich culture and, of course, the Panama Canal, a 105-year-old engineering marvel.   This wonderful tropical place will be the perfect venue for bringing together world and regional leaders to discuss the wide world of antimicrobial resistance.

We invite you to join us in Panama for what will be an outstanding meeting. We look forward to see you there!
